Upon closer inspection i discovered that a third egg has hatched
its surpriseing on how they've put the eggshell (the small bit squashed in side the bigger bit) so very cute i love the lil fluff balls and also so tiny(i know ive been repeating this a bit but i really am amazed on how small they are

so tommorow will be expecting the fourth one hatched

also would i be able to breed one of next years clutch with one from my new tiel and one from this one? if this makes sense to anybody

help would be nice with the above question

Thanks, Brodie

Well done Brodie good to hear your family is growing.
I'm not sure I've got this right but you want to breed one of these bubs with a bub from a clutch of another pair is that right. If they aren't related that is fine but it's best to let the parents be at least a year old before you try to breed from them.

Brodie what you would basically get is, if I understand correctly, a baby from this clutch, call it bird A, paired with your new bird............they will produce a clutch next year (if you're lucky ;)) and one of those babies (bird B) will be paired up with one of T and P's babies from their clutch next year, which makes that baby the aunty/uncle of bird B so still related but 2nd generation but I wouldn't personally........

Anyone else have any thoughts??
